Why Barry Cooper?

Meet Barry Cooper who was once one of the nation’s top drug enforcement officers/K9 officers. During an Associated Press interview, Barry’s task force commander said,

“Barry was even better than he says he was. He had a knack for finding drugs and made more arrests and seizures than all our agents combined. He was probably the best narcotics officer in the state and maybe the country during his time with the task force.”

After an enormous shift in conscience, he now works as a criminal defense expert witness where he has helped hundreds of Drug War defendants go free. Barry is an accredited lecturer who has given presentations at various Universities and for the Texas Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association (Tyler, TX) Texas Criminal Defense Attorney Association (Houston, TX), Public Defender’s Association (Orlando, FL), Public Defender’s Association (Clearwater FL) and the Seattle Defense Lawyer’s Association.

Projector Films, John Battsek (Searching for Sugar Man and The Deepest Breath) and Chris Smith (Tiger King and Fyre Festival) are currently producing a four-part docuseries about Barry’s life. Barry also starred with Woody Harrelson, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Susan Sarandon in the Drug War documentary, “How To Make Money Selling Drugs”.

Netflix is producing a four-part docuseries about Barry's life. It will air the first quarter of 2024. Here is a sneak peek: (At 5 million views)

Consult and Win Your Drug Case with Barry Cooper

During the video or telephone consultation Barry will analyze your drug case for mistakes and discuss strategies to help you through the nightmare.

Barry will use his experience as a former drug agent to:

  • Ascertain if your lawyer is doing either his/her job or is selling you down the road.
  • Highlight the mistakes the police made during your search and arrest.
  • Give you valuable tips to relay to your lawyer so he can give you the best defense possible.
  • Ascertain if the police used an informant and identify who it is.
  • Help decide if your court case is winnable or if you should take a plea.
  • Give you advice on how to get the best plea deal possible.
  • Provide insights into your drug court case that your lawyer does not have or will not tell you.
  • Be a certified expert witness when necessary.

All drug case consultations have no time limit. The average consultation takes 2 to 3 hours.

To win, you must know exactly where you are during the complicated court process. There are only 7 steps to all drug prosecutions and it’s very important to know each step.

  • Step 1: The Arrest

  • Step 2: Posting Bond

  • Step 3: Lawyering Up

  • Step 4: Obtaining the Discovery (evidence)

  • Step 5: Suppression Hearing

  • Step 6: The Trial

  • Step 7: Plea Bargain

Lawyers RARELY teach their clients these steps. Most of them want their clients to be confused and afraid. This allows them to pressure their client into a premature plea bargain.

Learn these 7 steps and you will never “wonder” or “feel lost” during the horrible ordeal of navigating your drug case.

  • Barry was once one of the nation’s top drug enforcement officers. After an enormous shift in consciousness, he now works as an addiction specialist, freedom consultant, and criminal defense expert witness.
  • Barry has made hundreds of drug arrests and has practiced as a criminal defense expert for over a decade. He has guest lectured and helped thousands of lawyers develop defense strategies to help their drug clients go free.
  • Barry uses his past experience to expertly counter the court’s attempt to prosecute citizens for drug crimes. He knows all the tricks drug cops and courts use to doom the defendant.
  • The fastest way to go to prison unnecessarily is to fall into the sucker’s trap of plea bargaining a defendable case. Over 50% of people placed on probation wind up in prison. According to NeverGetBusted attorneys, probation should be one of the last resorts to resolve your drug case – not the first.
  • Barry can help you win your drug case.

The total consultation cost is $210.00 USD
Within 24 hours of receiving payment, Barry’s office will contact you to confirm the set appointment.

Barry is a certified expert witness but he is not a lawyer and does not give legal advice. All legal advice will be given by your lawyer or one of NeverGetBusted’s attorneys.

BARRY COOPER'S HISTORY AS A COP

Barry Cooper was once considered one of america’s best drug agent. He was cross trained and worked joint operations with the ATF, DEA, FBI, U.S. Military and Border Patrol

He received specialized training in every known field of narcotics operation. Barry Cooper has also worked undercover operations, performed reverse stings, conducted scores of search warrants, trained drug dogs, and worked highway interdiction.

He was the first to blow the whistle on drug dog false alerts in 2006 when he released footage of a certified drug detector dog false alerting.

He began his Texas law enforcement career as a police dispatcher for the Gladewater Police Department. He was soon hired by the Big Sandy Police Department where he trained his own narcotic detector dog.

Although he had less than five miles of highway to practice his craft, Barry Cooper made over one hundred drug arrests and broke several drug seizure records.

Because of his record-breaking drug seizure numbers, Barry Cooper was hired by the prestigious Permian Basin Drug Task Force located in West Texas.

Barry Cooper taught narcotics interdiction classes and police K-9 seminars at various police academies and agencies throughout Texas. Each seminar included one 8 hour shift of Barry Cooper demonstrating his ability to make drug arrests.

The standard agreement was for the host agency to pay all his expenses including an instructor’s fee. The seminar was free if Barry Cooper failed to make drug arrest. He never had to return refund any money.

Barry Cooper finished his career as head of the narcotics division for the Gladewater Police Department .

Barry Cooper accumulated a record of over 500 misdemeanors and over 300 felony drug arrests. He seized over 50 automobiles and millions in cash and assets. Barry Cooper quit law enforcement due to political pressures that were caused by arresting the wrong people and for out-performing the local drug task force and the DEA. He arrested the mayor’s son for methamphetamine and a city councilman for marijuana which caused the local task force to be defunded.
