Barry Cooper Documentary in Filming Stage - Stay Tuned. Barry Cooper discusses his recent studio experience in Australia and what's in the works with HBO and Netflix film producer

This is not the first time Barry Cooper has appeared in a documentary about the war on drugs. In the film How To Make Money Selling Drugs, Barry Cooper starred with other well-known personalities such as Woody Harrelson, Eminem, 50-Cent, Susan Sarandon and others.

Barry Cooper was one of the best narcotics officers in Texas and perhaps the United States. He busted more people in a year for drugs in his small jurisdiction in East Texas than the DEA did in a year...something Barry is not proud of today.

Barry later had a change of heart after smoking marijuana for the first time and realizing it was not the "Devils Lettuce" as he had been led to believe by his superiors in law enforcement. He then quit his position as a drug enforcement officer and switched sides in the war on drugs. He began a crusade to expose the failed war on drugs. After launching a successful video series entitled, "Never Get Busted Again, Barry became an overnight celebrity, and world-famous (or infamous depending on who you ask) in his crusade to end the failed war on drugs.

Soon after, he began exposing bad cops by filming them in the act of breaking the law themselves. Barry's story is so interesting and intriguing that he has been asked to shoot a documentary about his life. He is in Australia filming a documentary with Netflix, that may end up turning into a series on HBO in the future.

About Barry Cooper

"You may have seen him on the pages of Maxim, or during one of his many appearances on CNN, Fox News and Spike TV. He’s the cop who turned against the drug war. In American pop culture right now, there’s nobody quite like him. As one of the former top drug cops working the Texas highways, he was ferocious, bringing down hundreds of people for possessing even tiny amounts of an illegal substance. In his new life as a humanitarian crusader and activist filmmaker, he’s just as ferocious. Cooper is on a mission to free America’s pot prisoners. In the terminology of war, Barry is an insurgent, lobbing bombs into the fourth estate as his form of penance for all the people he put behind bars on drug offenses.”—True/Slant Barry recently starred with Woody Harrelson, 50 Cent, Eminem and Susan Sarandon in the anti drug war documentary, “How To Make Money Selling Drugs.” His internet fame via his website has received global attention by being reported in Rolling Stones, High Times, a feature in Maxim Magazine and a front cover feature in Cannabis Culture and the Texas Observer. His story was picked as a feature on NPR’s, This American Life. He has been a guest on scores of cable news channels discussing the Drug War. He has also appeared as a drug and legal expert in five episodes of SPIKE TV’s reality show, MANSWERS.

I was really interested in seeing this because I hate dirty cops as I have many police and sheriff in my family. I wish Barry’s style sounded more respectful, less aggressive and loud , I guess that’s his style but we are a bit different I small Texas towns. I wish him all the luck in in the world and prays with him in his great work.
