Outlaw deputy Sheriff being sued for stealing $1 Million in legal marijuana trees:  “Get the f**k off my hill and go back to Colorado.”

Update: Christopher Heath, a sheriff’s deputy who was on the same task force that illegally raided Matt Cyr and Fawn Block, was recently arrested for trafficking 247 pounds of marijuana. Heath was released after posting bail but was soon arrested again, this time on suspicion of possession of an unlawful assault rifle. Heath has since resigned. Read the full story here.

Yuba County Deputy Sheriff S. Moore

Chico, California — An outlaw deputy Sheriff recently landed his chopper on a legal pot farm and flew away with over one million dollars in cannabis trees.  The renegade deputy ignored the license to grow that was openly posted on the front gate of the farm. The ganja trees were so large, the helicopter could only lift and transport five trees per trip. While flying away with the last load of trees and after being informed he was in the wrong county, the deputy exclaimed, “Get the f**k off my hill and go back to Colorado.”

According to eyewitness testimony and records obtained by NeverGetBusted, on Sept 29, 2015, while raiding a five acre marijuana farm in his jurisdiction, Yuba County Deputy Sheriff S. Moore noticed a beautifully manicured cannabis farm located in the neighboring Butte County, California.

The one hundred gargantuan trees were being legally farmed by Fawn Block and Matthew Cyr of Denver, Colorado. According to financial records, the Colorado couple spent over $50,000 in land leases, fertilizers and other gardening equipment necessary to grow seedlings into monster plants. The crop was specially bred to produce high grade medical marijuana. At the time of the thievery, the trees were valued at over $800,000 and were three days from being harvested and legally sold to various California cannabis compassion centers.

Fawn, a self described minimalist and humanitarian, became a pot farmer after watching a close friend almost die from cancer. Her terminally ill friend had previously tried all the conventional costly and ineffective cancer treatments. A quick switch to medical marijuana cured the patient which led Fawn on a lifelong mission to heal others. She explains,

“As I saw hundreds of pounds of medicine being stolen from us at gunpoint, I pictured lives being flown away, not just trees.”

Fawn’s partner, Matthew Cyr, described the raid. “I kept telling the deputy he is in the wrong county but he didn’t care. I actually became ill and couldn’t stand any longer. I cried while watching my crop being ripped out of the ground and flown over the mountain. You can’t steal peach trees because they are legal so you shouldn’t be able to steal legal cannabis trees either.”

The victims contacted the NeverGetBusted Expert Witness Firm and a famous Arizona Civil Rights lawyer, Marc Victor. Mr. Victor is using the full force of his firm to file and litigate a multi million dollar lawsuit. During an interview, Attorney Marc Victor stated,

“It is hard to believe that in 2015 our government is still at war with a harmless plant and the mostly peaceful people who grow, transport, sell and use it. What’s worse is that it appears law enforcement officials may have knowingly violated the law to impose their personal anti-marijuana views upon people who were in full compliance with the law. When ordinary citizens knowingly and wrongfully destroy the property of others, it is considered criminal act. This matter should be investigated carefully by the authorities and criminal charges brought against the people involved if appropriate. That this apparently intentional destruction of lawfully growing marijuana plants was accomplished by law enforcement officials should not matter. I intend to fully investigate what occurred, and to utilize our civil laws to vindicate the rights of my clients as appropriate. I want to send a message to law enforcement that they need to respect the rights of all people; even those who lawfully grow and use marijuana.”

No arrests have been made at the time of publishing.

"You may have seen him on the pages of Maxim, or during one of his many appearances on CNN, Fox News and Spike TV. He’s the cop who turned against the drug war. In American pop culture right now, there’s nobody quite like him. As one of the former top drug cops working the Texas highways, he was ferocious, bringing down hundreds of people for possessing even tiny amounts of an illegal substance. In his new life as a humanitarian crusader and activist filmmaker, he’s just as ferocious. Cooper is on a mission to free America’s pot prisoners. In the terminology of war, Barry is an insurgent, lobbing bombs into the fourth estate as his form of penance for all the people he put behind bars on drug offenses.”—True/Slant

Barry recently starred with Woody Harrelson, 50 Cent, Eminem and Susan Sarandon in the anti drug war documentary, “How To Make Money Selling Drugs.” His internet fame via his website NeverGetBusted.com has received global attention by being reported in Rolling Stones, High Times, a feature in Maxim Magazine and a front cover feature in Cannabis Culture and the Texas Observer. His story was picked as a feature on NPR’s, This American Life. He has been a guest on scores of cable news channels discussing the Drug War. He has also appeared as a drug and legal expert in five episodes of SPIKE TV’s reality show, MANSWERS.

I follow legal cases. I litigated my own on marijuana transportation charges, P v Trippet, and won that carrying your medicine is an “implicit right”.

So what are the legal consequences of this action?
Also how long would this case take to process?
And if the claimants win how do they collect the money owned and any damages?
Is there any Case Law that could address this issue ?

The sheriff of Yuba County is not named Moore. Is this article in anyway true. Not a picture of him either. I think you need to check on your source.
