| You have to watch the Juarez cops too. We went across one night to get some dope, two cops seen us and took all our money, then drove us to the south side of Juarez and we had to walk back to the border through Juarez at night. When we finally got back to the bridge we had to panhandle enough money to pay the fee for crossing the bridge. Mexico, it's not just a country, it's an adventure! |

Yes, it is the cartels fighting each other. There are two major one La linea (New) and El Choppo (old).
Each one has probably about Half of all the police in Juarez working for them (Its very corrupt down there) and yes there are a few straight ones they usually get shot for prying though. Each cartel is trying to kill the others Heads and Allies (the cops and other public officials)
Most of the Cops wont even go to work right now because they are scared, and Mexico moved in their army to try to keep some peace. Which hasn't worked, about 800 murders this year so far down there.
Basically the New cartel was trying to over throw the old one but the old one pretty much kicked there ass and i think they are just cleaning house now.
Vern, Many cops do that down there. My friend got pulled over for speeding they told him to put his wallet on the hood of the car and told him "you can give us all your money or you can get a ticket" money talks down there |

| Just offer the the cop Generals in Mexico five million or so, to keep the citizenry home. Tell them that fifty bucks would be subtracted for each one that makes the crossing, that is detected by the US. Payoff on an annual basis. I bet there would be very few successful crossings thereafter... |
