KopBusters Strikes Again--Second Sting Lands Kop Behind Bars

Texas Attorney General Candidate strikes again with his reality show, KopBusters. Barry Cooper assisted the Combine Police Department with the execution of a felony search and arrest warrant for recently fired Chief of Police, Michael Meissner. Disclaimer: Not all police officers appearing in this story agree with NeverGetBusted's anti-prohibition views this site promotes.
Several citizens filed complaints through KopBuster’s website detailing Meissner’s willingness to violate citizens’ civil rights while on patrol as Chief of Police for Little River Academy, Texas. Barry knew of Meissner’s suspicious work history noting he had worked for over ten different agencies in the past six years. Coincidentally, the busted kop had applied for a job with Barry for KopBusters a year earlier.
After learning the complaints were legitimate, Barry contacted Combine Police Department’s Investigator, Jay Hoskins, to report KopBusters had opened an investigation on Meissner because Barry knew Detective Hoskins had investigated Meissner for wrongdoings in the past. The detective advised Barry he was currently investigating Meissner for other crimes so Barry went undercover as a journalist and befriended Meissner and began relaying information to Detective Hoskins.
During the joint investigation, the Little River Academy fired Chief Meissner because of a large number of continuing citizen’s complaints.
Cooper acted as an undercover journalist informant and aided in the investigation by befriending Meissner and pretending Cooper was going to place Meissner on the reality show as a good cop.
On Monday, September 14, 2009, Detective Hoskins obtained seven felony arrest warrants for Meissner and a search warrant for his home located in Arlington, Texas. Barry was asked to assist the Combine S.W.A.T. team in locating Meissner who was placed in custody late Monday night.
"Tactical officers, who had set up a staging area just one street from Meissner’s Arlington, Texas home, raided the residence at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Monday, but the suspect was gone. He was arrested later that evening after returning to his home. Meissner actually called Cooper to warn that his home had apparently been raided. Cooper then called police and relayed Meissner’s location. A judge has set Meissner’s bond at $1.5 million.
For the man whose living is paid for by a DVD series on how to grow, sell and smuggle marijuana without being detected by the police, he certainly seemed to have a natural rapport with the officers on-scene. One of them even asked Cooper how his former law enforcement mentor in Odessa was doing. “Oh man, he was a legend back in my day,” Barry replied. “Unfortunately, he planted meth on an innocent woman and I had to bust him.”
Steve Allen, police chief in Combine, Texas, called Cooper’s brand of law enforcement activism an “excellent resource.” “Police officers need all the help they can get,” he said. “There’s a lot of things, for example, Y'all drew him out of the woodwork for us — something that we couldn’t do that y'all did. So, I think [KopBusters] is an excellent resource and tool for us.”
Cooper noted the Combine S.W.A.T. action was a model of what police can do right when serving an arrest and search warrant.
Sources say Meissner was arrested for sexually explicit text messages sent by Meissner to an underage high school boy. The texts suggests Meissner had an ongoing sexual relationship with the minor. Meissner was charged with the following crimes and booked into the Tarrant County Jail:

Barry states, “This is a wonderful case of KopBusters working with good police officers to catch a krooked kop.” Barry promises to continue busting korrupt kops to bring attention to his campaign and states he is “restoring the Texas criminal justice system one kop at a time.”

Ive been reading over the post. I'm posting this because as of last week I plead guilty to C porn in tarrant county as well as other charges. You ask why would I spend over $250,000 on a defense team only to plea bargin to 12 years.
Well when a narc officer puts a potted plant of mj by my front door. Then tells cps I had guns and drugs out in the open so they take away the kids. Arrest my wife because she just got into town with the kids.
Search warrant 2 years off and affidavit wrong address but a judge sends the set up evidence thru? Then the "steroid international dealer" working under the guidance of the tarrant county and feds set me up and O btw let's seize the computer just bought!
How can you get someone to plea?

If you fail to see that busting corrupt police officers who abuse their power and act through lies, fear, and intimidation, you are HOPELESS. Personally, I don't smoke and never will. I don't think he's motivated by some "pot smoker's club", where all he does is stick up for his little party. He's actually tackling the real issue: logical legislation and execution.

Even though this isn't directly involving the marijuana prohibition, it still goes with his original goal. To end police corruption.
Had Adam done more than read this article, like say watch Barry's interview with Alex Jones at infowars, he would have known that Barry's goal wasn't ONLY to help harmless pot smokers. But to put an end to ALL police corruption, including pedofiles. Odds are Adam will end up working for the DA and be just another pawn of a corrupt system...
I think the very fact that he has chosen to stand up against this corruption puts him "even" for all of the people he put in cages, at the very least. He's done far more than probly 90% of us who like to complain about the law, while we sit here on our computer and do nothing about it. The least we could do is show our support...

I have no problem whatsoever with arresting pedophiles, or corrupt cops; I'm not either one and I despise both. But I know a thing or two about public image and the rhetoric of successful reform movements. An "us against them" mentality never works, except in the context of war... and it sure as hell is not going to work when "they" are the police.

I don't know you or have any true idea what happened between you and Barry. I believe there are two sides to every coin. I just don't understand why you think what Barry is doing is wrong. I see him as having credibility because he has been on both sides of the law. I see him as a compassionate caring person. "Good" cops see that the war on drugs is wrong, and I think that Barry working along side of good cops really shows his compassion and care for society. Are you a criminal or something Adam? what is wrong with helping the police to stop real crimes? Doesn't that show that us users are real people too that care about society?

You should check out Menard Texas Barry. Buck Miller is Sheriff, he is ok. But for years the 4th Amendment has not existed in this town. They constantly harass us all. No one even goes out anymore at night. Its been like this for some time now. There is alot of other dirt.
